Deal With a Demon Teaser "Opening"

I have a teaser to post today from another series I am working on, I am always working on something, when I can't think of what to write next on one book series I move on to another, so sometimes my release dates take a while, but I end up with more work to share.

This series is the first book in the series "Deal with a Demon", a paranormal romance for college/young adult. You could also says it is supernatural, young adult, and/or urban fantasy. As a note from the author I really did go to college at the University of Wyoming so the weather, people, and locations are very true to life (well other than that there are tons of magical creatures.)

Storyline: Lina MacBride thought that by heading off to college in Wyoming that she would be able to escape her magickal destiny and have a chance at becoming popular. It wasn't until she was trapped there than she met the mysterious man, Rider, who was ready to drag her back into the supernatural fate she was born to complete. How can Lina find a way to become popular, her life long dream, with magick in her life? It might just take a deal with demon.

Teaser

Your freshman year at college is meant to be a time of discovering yourself. Every girl that was not popular in high school, and wanted to be, now has a chance to drop a few pounds, get dolled up, and do whatever it takes to become wanted. It is a time to learn new things, and trying new things. I guess in the end, looking backwards, I did all of the above.

My name is Lina MacBride. This summer I turned eighteen, and headed off to college in the middle of nowhere. A place I think the natives called Wyoming. I thought it would finally be my chance to really become someone, get a boyfriend, and do all the things I dreamed of.

Yes at 18 I’m still a virgin who was only kissed like twice in her whole life, thank god for spin the bottle right? I have shoulder length, wavy, mahogany hair, and big, sea blue eyes like Miranda Kerr. Only, unlike her, I’m not over five foot nine inches, and a Victoria Secret model.

Magick was something that I always had, and I mean magick with a K, as in witchcraft. I’ve known I was a witch since I was a little girl, and could relocate myself outside of my play-pin. Though, I thought that moving to Wyoming would give me a chance to start fresh. Then I swore I would see no more Fae race, I would avoid monsters, and above all I wouldn’t come face to face with a demon, half or whole. I mean I was moving to BFE, and what kind of magical creatures could I find there?
